1. LOCAL-FIRST PROCESSING

Speech recognition, transcripts, speaker-capture audio, and related working
files are processed on your device and stored only where you choose (for example
paths you select in the app). VoxTyping does not upload audio, documents,
clipboard contents, or keystroke content as part of ordinary licensing.

2. WHAT MAY LEAVE YOUR PC
================================================================================

(a) License / activation refresh (metadata only)
    When the app contacts VoxTyping license servers for trial, activation, or
    periodic refresh, it may send metadata such as: hardware fingerprint
    (hw_hash), license or activation identifiers, product/tier claims, app
    version, and status/timestamps. This traffic does not include audio,
    transcripts, documents, clipboard data, or keystroke content.

(b) Optional CDN / model downloads
    When you or a feature requests them, the app may download models, KenLM
    runtime packs, UI locales, word lists, or similar assets from VoxTyping CDN
    or related distribution endpoints.

(c) Optional diagnostic / support signals (product signals)
    Separate from ordinary licensing. Only items from the closed diagnostic
    allowlist shown in Settings → Privacy may be sent. This may include:
      - Switcher emergency diagnostic codes (for example injection/hook/selection
        failures). On Free, after you acknowledge this Privacy Policy, these may
        be sent automatically unless you turn them off in Settings. On trial and
        paid tiers, the app shows a preview window unless you choose to send
        without asking. Payloads do not include typed text, audio, or transcripts.
      - Hard system error reports — only if you enable them in Settings.
      - Messages you send via Contact us; configuration or log files only if you
        explicitly attach them for that message.
    You can opt out of switcher emergency reports and hard-error reports in
    Settings. This channel is not used for marketing funnels or continuous
    configuration analytics.

3. SPEAKER CAPTURE

Speaker capture can record system audio (and, in Meeting mode, your microphone).
Other people's voices may be included. A separate first-run consent step applies.
You are responsible for complying with local laws and notifying participants
when required.
