Pricing FAQ
- How many devices?
- One Personal license = one active PC (hardware bind). The app refreshes a signed lease roughly monthly; the lease window is about 90 days from the last successful check.
- What is “lifetime”?
- Right to use on the active device. Standard has no software updates line — you keep the version at purchase. Pro may add an optional updates line (€20/year).
- Can I move a license?
- Standard: no free transfer. Pro regular: one free transfer per 12 months. Pro launch pricing: no free transfer in year 1. Teams: pool rules with an active updates line — see sales for Enterprise.
- Speaker vs Meeting — is there a bot?
- Standard/Business speaker = system audio on the PC only. Pro Meeting = your mic + remote PC audio on your machine — no meeting bot joins the call.
- Is the layout switcher a neural model?
- Personal uses an algorithmic layout engine. Teams can add an optional on-device statistical language model. Neural models power speech recognition (voice/files), not layout.
- Pro trial?
- Try Pro 14 days in the app before you buy. Lifetime licenses are device-bound.
- How do I activate after purchase?
- We email the license key (usually within one business day while fulfillment is manual). In the app open Activate / License and paste the key. Device transfer rules are above — ask sales@voxtyping.com if you need help.
- Second PC?
- A second Personal license is a separate purchase (discount paths may apply with an active updates line). Ask sales or buy a second license from Pricing.
